Last Wednesday was the E2K Day, an annual event that in this edition brought together insurance brokers belonging to the association, as well as other professionals from the insurance sector, insurance companies and collaborators to discuss important issues such as broker diversification.
Within the framework of the event, the former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Spain, Josep Pique, participated with an interesting paper entitled "The Moment We Live In", in which he contributed his vision of today's social and economic challenges with reflections such as "Let's look at the big trends, instead of isolated and conjunctural facts" highlighting that «Technological superiority determines hegemony at every moment of history. You have to look at the maps and study history to understand the moment we live in.”
Subsequently, Higinio Iglesias, CEO of ebroker and the former minister, held a talk on the insurance sector and how diversification and specialization is key to the mediator business, where he pointed out that «The value of insurance brokers is based on the close relationship of trust they provide to clients» ensuring that this “It is very important in times of uncertainty”.
