Within the framework of the activities developed during the 14th ICT Promotion Week, ebroker has played a relevant role through the participation of its CEO, Higinio Iglesias, and its technology director (CTO), Saúl González.
Higinio Iglesias, CEO of ebroker, participated in the round table “Consolidating ICT in Companies”, within the Corporate Session “Managing Talent in Computer Engineering: Challenges and Alternatives”. The round table, moderated by Professor Darío Álvarez from the Department of Computer Science at the University of Oviedo, brought together prominent leaders from the business and academic fields, including Isaac Pola, Deputy Minister of Industry of the Principality of Asturias; Pablo García, Vice President of the Asturian Federation of Entrepreneurs (FADE); and Jesús Daniel Salas, COO of DXC for Spain, Portugal, Italy, the Middle East and Africa.
“The consolidation of ICT in companies must go hand in hand with a talent management strategy that responds to the challenges of a global and technologically advanced environment,” Iglesias said, emphasizing the crucial role that ICT professionals play in the digital transformation of society.
MeanwhileSaul Gonzalez, CTO of ebroker, took part in the panel discussion “The transformation of the professional profile: new demands in a constantly evolving labour market”, as part of the Technical Session “Talent 2.650: The IT engineer of the XNUMXst century”. This session, aimed at exploring the challenges and skills required in the future of the ICT sector, also included the participation of Cristian Ferrer from Capgemini, Pablo Valledor from Arcelor Mittal and Juan Manuel Rodríguez from ASAC, under the moderation of José García Fanjul.
“Computer engineers of today and the future must be agents of change, prepared to adapt and lead in an ecosystem where emerging technologies set the pace,” stressed the CTO of ebroker.
The event was closed with the traditional gala dinner, during which the CEO of ebroker, Higinio Iglesias, accompanied Iván Aitor Lucas del Amo, General Director of Innovation and Digital Transformation of the Government of the Principality of Asturias, in the presentation of the ICT Impulse Award for Innovation to Pedro Javier Sáez, CEO of the company Onirix for his excellent work around augmented reality.
