ebroker participated in the 20th Edition of the Employment Forum organized by the University of Oviedo and which was held on October 6 and 7 at the Luis Adaro Fairgrounds in Gijón, a relevant event in Asturian socioeconomic activity that this year regained face-to-face attendance after two years of interruption as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Under the motto "Your future starts here", ebroker attended this important event that is an excellent meeting point for the approach of the university to the company to impulse to attract talent young in disciplines and profiles that currently represent a strategic priority for the platform in its reality of growth and expansion.
A young, multidisciplinary and diverse ebroker team was in charge of transmitting in first person to the young students and recent graduates the new work culture developed by the Asturian technology company, as well as the personal vision around their experiences in what It is an employment relationship model based on flexibility, conciliation and motivation around highly innovative projects and based on teamwork.
“I am more than satisfied with this employment forum. It has been very exciting to see how our young team has interacted with other young people and to perceive that chemistry of satisfaction and understanding between them. We have received more than one hundred CVs and now we have to solve them immediately, because our objective is to incorporate five people imminently.” Said Higinio Iglesias, CEO of ebroker.
El ebroker team participated in different activities of the forum. The round table "Data as raw material" was attended by Higinio Iglesias, CEO of the technology company, who took the opportunity to highlight the contribution of ebroker to the business strategy of insurance brokers in this area, recalling the commitment of ebroker and E2K with education through the recent creation, in collaboration with the University of Oviedo, the University Degree in Data Science Applied to the Insurance Activity.
"At ebroker we no longer talk about telecommuting, we go a step further and talk about total flexibility within the framework of a new work culture oriented towards well-being and results", explained Pedro Ramos, chief engineer of the ebroker project engineering area.
Saúl González, director of technology and CTO of ebroker, gave the Masterclass "DevSecOps and secure application development", a highly technical masterclass that dealt with the technological architecture of ebroker.
Álvaro Sahelices and Sofía González, from the Data Analytics team, Nuria Alfaro, Director of Marketing and Communication, together with Alejandro Gayo, also from her team, Helena Iglesias, project engineer, and Pablo González, from the IT area, participated in various training sessions Speed Job Dating, interacting with a large number of graduates and students.
The 20th Edition of the Employment Forum of the University of Oviedo was also the framework chosen by the technology company for the presentation of the new corporate video, a multimedia work that extols the values of ebroker as a project with “a commitment that goes beyond technology, a project oriented towards people, talent, our community of users, with values rooted in our reality and environment.” Higinio Iglesias affirmed.
